Nau Mai Haere Mai
“Mai te korenga ki te Ao Mārama”
Our vision is to empower our community through upskilling, knowledge, and on-training, paving the way for sustainable career pathways
Whānaungatanga the strength of empowerment through connection. An Iwi led work force development strategy. Supporting, uplifting, and collaboratively working alongside our whānau for collective wellbeing
I now have a clearer understanding of what employers are looking for, including the skills needed to prepare, how to research an organisation, the different scenarios I may encounter during an interview, and how to effectively highlight my strengths.
I now have a broader outlook on pathways toward different employment opportunities. The experiences shared by the kaimahi have been truly inspiring.
Wow, I have to say I’m proud of myself. Even though I don’t often say it or show it, I truly am. Another reason is that I’ve never done something like this for myself before.
There have been many opportunities and resources available to support me in achieving and completing this program to the best of my ability. I now have an extended community and whānau to work alongside in delivering cultural competency to others within our whānau, hapū, and iwi.
